Recent Summer Maintenance
Our greens were recently aerified July 27–29 as part of our summer turf maintenance. This important work helps relieve soil compaction, improve root growth, and keep our greens healthy for the months ahead.
You may notice some temporary differences in green speed and playing conditions while the greens recover. We appreciate your patience as they heal and get back to their best!

Flowood Mayor’s Cup Benefit Golf Tournament
Join us September 17–18 at The Refuge Golf Course for the 22nd Annual Flowood Mayor’s Cup Benefit Golf Tournament & Silent Auction.
This year’s event benefits the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi, supporting efforts to improve Mississippi’s response to child abuse.
Tournament Details
- 4-Man Scramble
- Morning and afternoon flights
- Breakfast, lunch, and beverages provided
- Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Special events on the course both days
- Silent Auction at the Sandi Trap Bar, Sept. 17–18

Cancellations:
If your plans change and you’re unable to make your tee time, 24 hours’ notice is required so we can accommodate other players who are looking to get out and play.
You can easily change or cancel your tee time directly in the Troon App—just a few taps. Please note that cancellations through the app must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Or call the golf shop at (601) 487-1282.
Group Size:
Please book based on the number of players you plan to have in your group. If you reserve a foursome, we prepare accordingly. Please note that singles and twosomes may be paired to form foursomes.
